After Team Rashad won the second elimination bout on episode two of “
The Ultimate Fighter” the Heavyweights, it was coach
Rashad Evans turns to call out the match-up for the next fight.
Evans called out
Kimbo Slice and his “greasy beard” to face his fighter, Roy “Big Country”
Nelson for the third elimination bout of the show.
The episode will air on
Spike TV on Sept. 30 at 10PM (EST) and will no doubt be hyped up on the channel long before the show airs.
The fight will pit one of the most popular and well known fighters in the world, against one of the best fighters on this seasons TUF show. Nelson is the former
IFL heavyweight champion, having successfully defended his title twice before the promotion closed its doors, and is the odds-on favorite to win.
In his last two fights, Slice has delivered 7 million viewers for his win
James Thompson, the most watched MMA event in history, and more than 6 million viewers in his loss to
Seth Petruzelli.
Next Wednesday’s show should be a ratings giant for Spike as both men step into a
UFC octagon for the fist time.
