Tell us about yourself
To start off my name is George Wiggins also known by Dark Soul I am 38 years of age and currently am a professional tattooer in the states of New Hampshire and Massachusetts. I am currently training as a mixed martial artist and have had one fight to date as an amature and am currently 0-1-0 having lost my first fight to a first round KO in under 10 seconds but hey I am still working on getting in shape and plan on making a better showing sometime soon.

I was born into a rather dysfunctional family with a very unhealthy life style. For most of my life I was fat but not just fat I was super obese and suffered from major depression and anxiety. My mom was never home and I was forced to raise my 2 sisters in the lovely ghettos from MA. all the way to South Central Cali.

When I was in kindergarten I must have been 100+ pounds , wore glasses and had no friends. I had my head split open by a group of teen agers just because I was fat and over the years I fell victim to beatings and violent attacks not only from others but from my mother as well and when I was 8 I attended Steve Fisher's Karate studio in Inglewood California. I took it for a few months never getting out of I believe white or yellow belt but I needed to take self defense to protect myself from the kids trying to beat me up as I was just a huge kid and people seemed to enjoy hurting me.

I was never really a physical person and the only sports I tried were football, street hockey and some wrestling but I was so out of shape it didn't go far. When I was 11 I started playing music and taught myself Bass guitar, drums and guitar and have been playing since then and have been in a few touring acts but still the weight was an issue and at the same time I fell into drugs and booze and saw many people crumble under the influence of them. At 16 I left home to live with my grandparents and had hardships until they both passed away in 1999. Not to mention my mother died in 1994 so I knew things were bad for me but I did what I could until I moved once again.

I also had the chance to go to Nome Alaska in 1995 where I was playing for a local band but was in a major bar fight that was 10 on 2 but as I said I was huge and at this time I weighed in at 518 pounds and had a drinking issue and well after the fight got stuck there for 4 months but got back and well at the same time I had been training to be a tattoo artist and went home and started tattooing in Nashua NH.

Now in 2002 I mover to Lansing MI. where I got married and where I was so huge my Dr. said I would be dead in 3 years if I didn't lose the weight and they said I should get a gastric bypass so after major testing and fighting with insurance for things I had my chance.

April 17, 2003 I under went a Micro Pouch Gastric Bypass in Detroit MI. and with in 7 days I lost my first 42 pounds and the weight was coming off like crazy. I was in a touring band at this time and well my wife and I had a falling out so I moved back to Ma. and had been in many tattoo shops working as well as working for the national recording artists NONPOINT,SKINDRED and DRY KILL LOGIC and about a 1 year tour and back to tattooing.

I had met a great girl named April who has helped me get my head straight and well after 4 years we are still together.

I know my story seems lame but there is much more but it is hard to write this and I am an open book but you need to come read it.

Much Respect to you all
